YES! "BollyX Kids" is appropriate for those ages 4-7 and 8-11. The 45-minute class format has choreography, games and music that is selected and geared towards those age groups.
BollyX and BollyX Low Impact were designed for adults 18 and older. It's a group exercise class taught at gyms for adult members. Having said that, if the gym allows teenagers (12-17) to attend adult group fitness classes with the supervision of the parent, they can take BollyX with their parent(s).
The BollyX and BollyX Low Impact certifications only allow you to teach those respective formats to adults. It does not allow you to teach, nor modify the BollyX or BollyX Low Impact format for kids. For liability reasons, we do not recommend teaching fitness classes to kids without taking a formal certification/training to understand the differences in development of kids as compared to adults. Safety is always of utmost importance to us.
If you are interested in teaching BollyX Kids, the pre-requisite to taking that training is either the BollyX or BollyX Low Impact certification. You can enroll in either format by taking the training online or signing up for a virtual (live over Zoom) or in-person workshop. After obtaining that certificate, you can then register for the BollyX Kids format through the instructor portal (subscribers receive 50% off the registration fee).
