BollyX offers three training options for those interested in obtaining their BollyX Instructor Certification:
1) Online Training: Self-paced study at home by taking the full-length class via the portal, and studying for the online multiple choice exam using the online manual and video tutorials as reference. You will be working 1-on-1 with a Mentor/Trainer throughout this process. Check the BollyX website to register for online trainings. You can start this at any time.
2) Virtual Training: Everything in online training plus you’ll get to attend a ~3 hour virtual training session conducted by a Community Mentor/Trainer over ZOOM. This virtual training experience simulates the practical guidance and lecture components typically received during Live (in-person) workshops.
3) Live Training: A combination of self-paced study at home and an in-person workshop to cover practical components of teaching a BollyX format. Workshops are ~3.5 hours, including a 50-minute master class to kickoff the session (optional to attend, but highly encouraged). Check the BollyX website to register for training workshops. You will be working 1-on-1 with a Mentor/Trainer for the at-home online components before and after your workshop.
BollyX has two formats you can register for: BollyX - the high impact format and BollyX Low Impact. At the workshop, you can achieve your certification in BollyX or BollyX Low Impact. Usually, the Master Class will be the BollyX original format, but everyone who attends is encouraged to modify any dance moves, keeping moves low impact if needed. Details regarding the differences of the format are covered in the workshop.
For both online and live trainings, whether it's BollyX or BollyX Low Impact, you will need to pass a online multiple choice exam. Once you pass that, you officially become a certified BollyX instructor! From that point forward to maintain your Instructor Certification, you will need to subscribe to the online Instructor portal (~$20/month or $200/year). You are eligible to teach BollyX or BollyX Low Impact classes and your Certification will remain active as long as you are subscribed to the portal.
