That's no fun - we're here to help. Our videos should be running smoothly for you!
First step is to double check which browser you are using to stream BollyX. We recommend Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. Please note that Apple devices tend to work best with Safari, especially for AirPlay to AppleTV. However, some users have occasionally reported that switching to a different web browser has helped resolve the issue they were experiencing - definitely give it a try! It takes a few seconds to try and might work :)
There are usually only 3 issues our members occasionally report running into:
- Audiovisual lag/sync issue - usually this is something that happens on select Chromecast devices (depending on what model you have) when trying to view some of our higher frame rate videos. Read this article on Chromecast to resolve!
- Video playback error - if you're getting an error message that looks something like the image below, that usually means you're experiencing an issue with cache memory. This article shows you how to fix it!
- Smart TV Browsers - if videos aren't loading up into playlists properly on your Smart TV's built-in browser, here's an article for you that explains why it might not be streaming properly, with some suggested alternatives!
Outside of the above issues, we recommend at least 5 Mbps in wifi streaming speed to maximize performance. Please note that the more devices you have connected to your router, the more your wifi speed will be divided among the devices. Check the speed of your network here: http://testmy.net/download. Also, check out this article on how to improve your wi-fi network performance.
Please note that we're working on creating an offline viewing option, but that is not available yet unfortunately! Hopefully we'll have that available soon.
